Brand Identity Development

Client: Half Day CBD

To build the visual identity of this brand, I worked with a local CBD startup who wanted their brand to look and feel:

  • Trustworthy/Reputable

  • Innovative

  • Upscale/Premium

  • Relaxation/Zen/Comfortable

  • Optimistic

  • Fresh/Hip/Cool/Sexy

  • Pure/Clean

  • Effective

We explored a handful of different logo treatments, fonts, color palettes, and visual directions and landed on a color block concept.

We took this concept and applied it across all brand and marketing collateral including: packaging, business cards, pamphlets, ads, website, and trade show booth.

Fun fact: these were the first CBD ads on the CTA in Chicago!
